I can not upload any picture
I've moved my website from godaddy hosting to own dedicated server. But now i do have some problems with uploading pictures.
I have GARS (Geek Article and Review System) installed on my forum. Everytime i try to upload a new picture, nothing was uploaded and also no error message. So i thought it was a problem with GARS. But today when i tried to upload a new avatar/profile picture, same problem occured. Nothing uploaded. Even through url.. So i guess this is something with vbulletin. I've checked most of the options but couldnt solve the problem. Anyone can give me an idea/advise to solve this problem ? Thanks in advance Regards |

Are you storing attachments/avatars/etc in the database or the file system? If in the filesystem, make sure you have the correct path to the directory (it may have changed when you moved servers) and that the directories are chmod 777.

I do thank you very much Lynne. Without your advise, it would take very long time for me to solve this problem. The problem was the chmod permission of the directories. Problem solved!
Thanks again... |
