Hi all

I don't know if this is the right board because I'm not sure if vbulletin does this already or if I need to ask for a modification, but Lynne suggested I put it in the modifications section so I hope I've found the right place.

I have a forum called New Homes Needed where people can post threads for guinea pigs that need rehoming.

I want my "Rescue Centre" usergroup to be able to post on that board freely. I want Joe Public (regular members usergroup) to have to meet a post count before they can post on that board.

I have "Cyb - Advanced Permissions Based on Post Count" and with that I can set a post count for Joe Public to meet. However, this also prevents the "Rescue Centre" group from posting freely on this board and requires that they also meet the post count.

How can I make it so that the "Rescue Centre" group can post freely without needing to meet the post count that everyone else must meet?

Actually, I said you should post in the Modification thread. You said you are using "Cyb - Advanced Permissions Based on Post Count" and you are asking a question about a setting in that modification. You need to ask that question in the thread for the modification.

I was asking a question generally, not about that modification specifically. I mentioned I had it installed as I thought it might help anyone who thought they could help me, perhaps I could have worded it better. I think it's just one of those days.

Incidentally, I have since discovered that I can do what I need to do with what I already have, so my apologies for overlooking this. I shall go and stand in the corner now and look for my brain.
