Wow, that is cool. It provides setup instructions on the site (toksta). Im going to try to install this... says it works seamlessly with vBulletin...

I like the bar along the bottom of your site (like facebook) is that part of toksta as well?

the bar is part of toksta but the merges seamlessly with vbulletin is only thier advertisement on the frontpage because they've seen it done several times they only have integration with phpbb and other software, but they've seen toksta integrated as a product with vbulletin doesn't take much coding...

i agree vividbreeze i would like it a lot better as a part of the site rather than as a popup, if you make any headway that direction let me know

I already started payed request about FB chat style, few months ago

I hope someone will do such a modification for VB

But as I can see noone is interested that much in this

I just posted details of a FB style chat on another thread that I was using as we developed the solution. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....3&postcount=13

This is a one-to-one chat based on ajaxim that we modified to look more like FB, anchored to the bottom and it uses the person's buddy list. ajaxim allows you to send a message to anyone, but in this install we removed the button so you can only start an im with a member in your contact list. (or maybe it was friend list)

This came about after reading and searching for a plugin/product that would do FB style chat. Nothing was exact, but I think this is pretty close now.

Close enough for me, an im with a member in contact list is ok
Would be better if possible with all members but even this is more than fine
