Why doesn't my forum auto-complete user fields?

On most VB sites I can start to type "Jam" and it will complete with a list of users like James, James3, James089, etc.

My site does not seem to do this - why come?

Start to type that where? It works on my site if I do that in the Recipient box for PMs. And also for tags.

Try this:
Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - does it now work?

Bump for old thread - I did this an it did not work.

I upgraded to 3.8.4 Patch 1 or what nut (latest) just now and I still can't get autocomplete to work.

Help!
