Gd 1.8.4
Hi,
I want to install the mod with which photo's will be automatically resized, but in order to install that mod, you need to have GD (or Imagemagick) on the server. I've got GD 1.8.4 on the server installed. Will this version work with the image resizer or do I need to have a newer version? Thanks! |

It needs to have FreeType 2 support, and I don't think that version does. You may want to ask your host about that. I read somewhere that for resizing images, it is better to use Imagemagick. I don't resize images on my site, so I can't comment on that.

Lynne is right and the first to reply as usual ( but in a good, I'm jealous your so everywhere kinda way ) but be sure to use the search or even manually go through the mods to find the right mod for you! I'm not sure what mod since you did not link to the mods thread but I have used some in the past that did not require any extra configuration or contacting the host etc and I was only using GD not Imagemagic etc.

Etaran,
You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to download modifications and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (vB-Germany users click here, vB-Chinese users click here) and enter your email address. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive. To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status. The update of your account can take up to one hour. Thank you. |

Yes, otherwise he could not have posted here.
They are allowed to ask Pre-Sales questions, not support questions on how to install a modfication (as you only install a modifiction if you have vB running and you should already be licensed). |
