Lol sorry, I mean is there a modification or template edit where I can show members avatars alongside their username in Currently Active Users on forumhome.

I've never seen one cuz I would imagine it would make the page loading time go way up (and bandwidth usage go up too)! You'd first have to do a query to get the avatars for each user, then code it to make the avatar path available to the template, and then do a template edit.
