I've read many posts on "how to restore deleted threads" and etc. Why don't we make a "recycle bin" hack or something?
The Idea: When ANYONE deletes threads, it goes to a recycle bin "area" where it can't be seen by anybody except for the people who have access to the Control Panel. Then, if someone decides to permanetly delete the thread, they empty the recycle bin. (Just like Windows ) Is it possible? I just thought it was a good idea... because my mods or I sometimes delete things by accident Oh well... lemme know |

Mainly, is it possible to make it so only Admins can delete threads? In the showthread_adminoptions template, I found the "Delete Thread / Post" option, but that would take away the delete option to both Admins and Moderators. Is there a way you could tell it..
If Admin then... Delete Thread / Post, It not, then... (doesn't display that option). Thanks! |

Someone released a hack that lets you click a button to move a post to a certain forum ...
Just use that, and move the post to a forum labelled 'recycle bin'. Rename the link as delete as take out the old one and your set. |
