Google Gone Nuts
I have noticed recently that google is finding pages that do not exist. The finds seem to be any kind of topic such as the one posted in the attachment. Anyone have this problem before or have an Idea what may be causing it? I have 3.8.0 and I am worried something bad is going to happen like getting banned from google.
Thanks |

The thread that the google spider is viewing in that image does exist, so your trying to say that its finding other threads that dont exist on your forum?
http://appliancerepairhelp.net/showt...ht=blagojevich I just found that post on your site. |

Thats correct...a couple of times today and yesterday I noticed,, it seems just random made up threads. Although the links when you click them go to the payments.php page.
The threads do not exist. Thanks for the reply I ll check back in the morning. Edit: You actually saw that thread? I cannot. I get the payments.php page. |

It wouldn't be possible for me to see that thread as i dont have a registered account on your site.
Regardless of where that link goes to, its still a valid thread link & what your saying doesn't make sense to me as the thread does actually exist on your forum, so google hasnt gone nutz from what i can tell. |

Ok If I am sounding inexperienced its because I am. The forum is only about a month old there are nt many threads or posts for that matter I have read them all. And could read them all again in just a few minutes. I could pm you a screen name and password if you would like to look. Its my first and I am at a loss for what to do if anything.
Thanks I do appreciate your help. |

A screenshot is in the first post. The mouse cursor is near the thread that google is supposed to be seeing. Anyone who wants to look
Use the screen name Ronnie Password Harry To view the site. I ll see if I can catch another screenshot today. --------------- Added [DATE]1234192937[/DATE] at [TIME]1234192937[/TIME] --------------- Hang on a bit I ve found something. There it is,,an says I put it there. Yet if I click the link I cannot read it. I do not know how I could have put that there. --------------- Added [DATE]1234194088[/DATE] at [TIME]1234194088[/TIME] --------------- Here is what I found. The forum is hidden all the threads were there. The Forum Link does not go to the forum but to the subscriptions php. which is how I set it up.. Once I unhid the forum I could see them all.... I really do not know how all those threads got in there. Strangest thing. I must have done it though....Thanks for the help I would have never convinced myself if you had not been convincing me it was really there. |
