SEO suggestion
Hello
i just need a little suggestion... from you guys, i m running a forum, and i m getting 80% of my traffic from Google Search... my forum in located on my main directory (i.e www.myforum.com ) but now i want to move my forum to sub directory (i.e www.myforum.com/forum), and have a index page, that contains all the forum links....but i m worring about loosing all the links from Google.... because after moving my forum to my sub directory all the generated links in Google will be dead... which means no more traffic from Google... so would Google recognize my new link by it self ? does my site map help me ? and if Google will recognize my new link, how long would it take ?Will vbseo help me ? if yes, how? i hope you guys understand my point, and will help me out soon.. Thanks --------------- Added [DATE]1233524060[/DATE] at [TIME]1233524060[/TIME] --------------- anyone ? |

The best way would be to create 301 redirects (old links to new links) in your .htaccess file.
