Default Sub-Forums - How do I do them Please?

In simple terms, how would I do sub-forums please?

I would like to add to seperate ones to the bottom of my forum home page, With a spacer between.

the following is an example of what I would like, with regards to a subforum.

But, I would like it to show Under the main forum.

If someone could explain to me, how I would do this, I would be very grateful.

Thanks In Advance.

actually, from what i see from the page you link to in your OP, this is a pure non-modified sub-forum... what is your need?!

you want the subforums to show below the threads list?!

this is just a template edit, in the "FORUMDISPLAY" template, the subforums block is easy to find and movable.

I have downloaded that, but all it appears to be (and what I get on mine) is , Top 5 Statistics showing under my threads on my forum index page. This is where I would like to show my sub-forums. thanks for your reply.

** Update **

I have moved the:

Code:
"<!-- sub-forum list -->
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center" style="border-bottom-width:0px">
<tr>
<td class="tcat" width="100%">$vbphrase[subforums]<span class="normal"> : $foruminfo[title]</span></td>
<if condition="$show['forumsearch']">
<td class="vbmenu_control" id="forumsearch.subforums" nowrap="nowrap"><a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]f=$foruminfo[forumid]" rel="nofollow">$vbphrase[search_this_forum]</a> <if condition="$show['quicksearch']"><script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("forumsearch.subforums"); </script></if></td>
</if>
to the FORUMHOME (I tried it in FORUMDISPLAY, where is was originally, but it didn't work) I then moved it to FORUMHOME to where I wanted it, and it is working as far as the screenshot shows, below.

I also pasted it back to where it was originally (Forumdisplay).

http://i631.photobucket.com/albums/u...ulletinorg.gif

How would I get it to have the same border as the main forum and the "New post / No new post symbols, categories, last post, Number of Threads and Number of post sections, in it, Please? Just like the Main forum.

Also, how do I go about posting in it too please?

I have also tried "Trial and error" on the "Forum Listing Display Options" and that was a no-go too.

I would really appreciate your help on this, Guys. It is driving me up the wall.

Thanks in Advance,

Welshy2008.

--------------- Added [DATE]1233711073[/DATE] at [TIME]1233711073[/TIME] ---------------

I have Managed to seperate the "Sub-Forums" with a space.

http://i631.photobucket.com/albums/u...lletinorg2.gif

Will the box/border only show once a category/forum title has been posted?

How on earth do I post in there please?

Many Thanks,

Welshy2008.
