Where in Admin Panel do you increase private message by member
Where in the Admin Panel do we increase private messages by member rather than by usergroup?
After having read a few threads, it would appear this feature does not exist. Would this mean that a new usergroup would have to be created for existing members that aren't moderators or global moderators that we want to have increased storage to be able to increase same? Maybe a usergroup titled Member with 250 private messages and then lop them into that usergroup? |

Thank you dismas.
When searching for a basic how to on this, I am receiving a pop up that states the search term I indicated is under the minimum word length and therefore will not be found or if I remove some of the smaller words I am getting too many hits to narrow down the info I want. Would you, or anyone else, be able to walk me through how to create a new usergroup? |

After having re-read your initial post, I think I might have misinterpreted your question. If you want to just give all your current members more space for PMs, you can just edit the "Registered Members" usergroup and bump their max allowed messages to whatever value that you'd like. You would do that here:
AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Edit the Registered Members usergroup > Private Message Permissions > Max Stored Messages If you want to create an entirely new usergroup then you would go to: Usergroups > Add New Usergroup > select the drop down menu at the very top "Create Usergroup Based off of Usergroup:" > Choose a usergroup > "Go" > edit the new usergroup to allow them to do whatever else you like such as have more PM storage. Oh, and then to move members to this new usergroup, you'd go to: AdminCP > Users > Prune/Move Users |
