New User with questions
We have a site that is well established, crowniehq.net.
Problems since taking over. 1. Uploaded new theme but the default got corrupted. Mostly fixed. Lost vbookie. the vcash doesn't show up and the option to create an event is lost. Should I remove and relosd vbookie. Best way to do that please. 2. Contributor hack inop. All settings are there but it doesn't work. Suggestions? 3. Firefox issues. The fonts look good on default in IE but the fonts disappear in Firefox. Can't read certain things. Any help would be appreciated. |

1. Probably those mods required template changes and you lost them when uploading a new theme. You need to go through and reapply all the template changes. Also, sometimes mods do automatic template replace calls and you may have lost them with the new theme. You'll have to look at the plugins for the mod to see if that is the case.
2. Ask in the modification thread. 3. Image? Or link to a page to see this? |

1. That's the problem The Parent ws the default. It had all the mods and was setup perfectly. Once a them was uploaded, it was uploaded into the default and that's the beginning of the problems. The child themes lost everything but the common templates, which I used to rebuild the default. So - all the information for vbookie seems to be available but doesn't link or work correctly.
2. Sure will. 3. I changed the fonts colors and it seems to be fine. Disregard. |

1. Well, now you know to never upload to your default! Always upload to a new style and then if you want, you can change the parent of the child styles to be the new style after you get it all set up correctly.
3. It looks like you need to change the font color in the css. I'd look in your page source and find the class and then try changing it in your Main CSS. (I'm assuming the text is actually there, but the same color as the background, correct?) |

1. That was an accident. Definitely know not to do that. So that means reload you think?
3. Fixed. Thank you. |

1. Reload what? If you saved your default skin, then I would definitely reload it. Then I'd put your new skin as a child of that skin and edit each template that is different and add in any modifications you need. Get that skin to work all by itself before making it your main skin.

I mean reload vbookie and contributor. The option to create a vbookie event when creating a post is gone. All the vbookie info is in the templates but doesn't work. Just need a pro to look at it . I cannot explain it properly.

Sorry, but I can't help with that since I'm not familiar with the mod. You may want to read the modification thread and see if this has come up before or post in there for help.
