Community Lounge!!!
Considering 2 of my valid submissions where deleted from the graphic database for reporting vbulletin related threads in the community & they were moderated for a while but it seems like staff are allowing vbulletin related threads again. It clearly states that the community lounge welcomes all kinds of talk except vbulletin and modification talk.
Exactly, why is this being overlooked again, and how has this bypassed the eyes of the staff? Without this thread being classed as whinning, aren't rules supposed to be enforced? Again, it's one rule for one and one for another where vaild posts are removed whilst threads that aren't supposed to be in specifc locations are allowed to remain uncensored, uncensored in the sense that staff are actually commenting in these threads that shouldn't be in the community lounge. |

i would vote for the lounge to be filtered to refuse any discussion related to CODING, HOSTING, COMPUTERS or anything related to a keyboard...

Shelley, you run a site... do you read every single thread and every single post? I know I don't on my own site. I know my mods don't either. We rely heavily on users to report posts when they see something that shouldn't be there. So, Report the Post/Thread. Also, consider the fact that mods may comment in a thread without looking to see what forum it is in - I am VERY guilty of that. I make assumptions that users post in the correct forum which is a wrong assumption and one I am really trying to get out of. Don't forget that mods are users also and aren't beyond making mistakes.

I always ensure that everything is in it's place otherwise the world would be an untidy, cluttered place in this case my forum. Yes, I do read every thread, and I always make sure that if a thread is in a forum where it shouldn't be, it will be moved, without hesitation. And promptly...
I have reported various threads, which, to no avail have been moved to a more appropriate location. It's not my job to report threads, If rules are supposed to be enforced then the job ultimately lies down to the volunteers that took it upon themselves to run and maintain vb.org. The threads aren't just been posted they have been sitting there for quite a while. Anyway, The threads are still present, and in the incorrect forum. |

Another pointless rant.
Threads may be moved if someone spots them, or they are reported, as per the last time this was covered, just a few weeks ago. If you really dont like the way things run then you are always free not to use the site, we really are tired of your constant moaning about the staff here. Oh, and yes, closed. |
