Using the Login Fuction on External Pages
Hi guys,
Well I've been running a Wordpress blog integrated with the vBulletin for a while now, and I implemented a new comment system, but there is one issue with giving the users the option to login. Basically a regular blog would have an example link such as "You are not logged in, click here to login" and that link would take you to the login page, have you enter your info, and then redirect you to your previous location. Now I want this option with my blog, but I want it so when users click the login link, they go to the regular vBulletin login page, and then have then redirected back to the page they were browsing. Any ideas? The reason it has to be done this way is because vB manages the entire user database rather than Wordpress.. |

You will need to store the referrer when on the login form - then alter $vbulletin->url to that URL.
Have you tried putting the box directly on the blog instead of using a link? |

The login box sounds like a good idea though, I'll try that as well and see how it goes. Thanks for the help...will report back with progress. |
