Banner upload question
I would like to upload a custom banner for my forum. I know where the forum logo url is located but I have no clue how to upload it to the images directory in my forum directory.

You can use the File Manager in Cpanel. But most people use FTP.
The relative path shown /images/etc. probably sits in your public_html/forums/ folder. Look around. And you probably want to use a .jpg, maybe a .gif. |

That's a workaround, but not a solution. As you'll find out the next time Photobucket takes a while to load - it'll hang your whole forum if you're using it for your forum logo.

if you are using the default vbulletin style
upload your image to /forumsdirectory/images/misc/logo.gif or favorite file type then change the image path in the control panel where you took the screenshot and chanige the path to /yourforumsdirectory/images/misc/logo.gif or whatever file type the image is. Hope this helped |
