.htaccess will be a file you can see when connecting to your server using an FTP client. (The thing you most likely used to upload the files).

Opserty will you (or someone else) be a little more specific?. I haven't seen that file and the hosting company is not answering my tickets, aparently are working on it but I have 0 information, in the meantime my site is screwed.
If someone is in disposition to help me out I can provide w/ the site, admin password, hosting CP etc, this is driving me nuts because I feel hopeless. Thanks guys. |

ftp to your site. Go to your admincp folder in your forums folder. Is there a file with the name .htaccess in there?

I will check there but the weirdess thing happened. I noticed I was connected to the FTP since the day the problem started to happened (2 days ago) for some reason I didn't close the communication. Today at the moment I closed it the site started to work just fine, the security popup dissapeared. Any possible explanation?.

I have no idea since my site doesn't do this if I leave the ftp connection open.
