I am trying to give my members their own links of interest, either in the usercp drop down or quick links drop down, or with in the navbar itself, with drop down. This one is being tested in the Quick Links section of the navbar. My Navbar is heavily modified.
I added 6 new profile fields, in my case, fields 10-16 All six fields were Single-Line Text Box Title: Link One URL Description: Add link you wish to go to. Max length of allowed user input: 100 Field Required: No Field Editable by User: Yes Private Field: No Field Searchable on Members List: No, until this works correctly. Show on Members List: No, until this works correctly. Which page displays this option? Options:Other ================================================= I went into my navbar template, Searched for: Code:
<tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$bbuserinfo[userid]">$vbphrase[my_profile]</a></td></tr> Code:
<tr><td class="thead">My Links</td></tr> <if condition="$bbuserinfo['field10']"><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="$bbuserinfo[field10]$session[sessionurl_q]" TARGET="_blank">Link One</td></tr> </if> <if condition="$bbuserinfo['field11']"><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="$bbuserinfo[field11]$session[sessionurl_q]" TARGET="_blank">Link Two</td></tr> </if> <if condition="$bbuserinfo['field12']"><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="$bbuserinfo[field12]$session[sessionurl_q]" TARGET="_blank">Link Three</td></tr> </if> <if condition="$bbuserinfo['field13']"><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="$bbuserinfo[field13]$session[sessionurl_q]" TARGET="_blank">Link Four</td></tr> </if> <if condition="$bbuserinfo['field14']"><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="$bbuserinfo[field14]$session[sessionurl_q]" TARGET="_blank">Link Five</td></tr> </if> <if condition="$bbuserinfo['field15']"><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="$bbuserinfo[field15]$session[sessionurl_q]" TARGET="_blank">Link Six</td></tr> </if> Everything works great, but, It will only show Link One through Link Six in the quick links section. Clicking them does take you to the url that I added via usercp/editoptions. I have tried so many ways to change the coding to allow me to display another set of fields with the name for the link you added in your usercp/edit options, but I cant do it. I am not a coder, but I sure can copy-n-paste ![]() Is there anyone here willing to show me, what it is that I need to do to get this to function they way I want it to? Thanks in advance, Tim |

![]()
try this
<if condition="$bbuserinfo['field10']"><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="$bbuserinfo[field10]$session[sessionurl_q]" TARGET="_blank">$bbuserinfo[field20]</td></tr> </if> field10 is URL field20 is Url Name and this way your members must enter link url 1 and link name 1 |
