WTF? Please answer me this...
I've had my forum up & running for about 2 months...never a problem. I have it saved in my favorites and that's always how I enter it.
So I come home tonight, and as usual, go to my forum through my favorites. The default vbulletin skin is being used! WTF? I use an Aria skin from VBstyles.com. Always have since I started the forum. I mess around a bit, and come to find out that when I use this URL to enter my forum: http://www.myforum.com/forums it displays the default vb skin. When I enter it through this URL: http://myforum.com/forums (no 'www') that it shows the Aria skin from vbstyles. WTF? First of all, why is this? Second of all, why has the URL in my favorites always been without the 'www', and why is it with the 'www' now? Anyone got any ideas? This was bugging me the heck out! Thanks for any help! |

You need to set your default style in the Admin CP.

lol Tried it, nothing.
It's not a HUGE deal, just very weird...one of those things that I just dont understand. I'd hate to have newcomers coming to the forum only to see a default skin....no banners, logos, etc. |

Make sure you have set the following:
AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings > Default Style > Make sure it is set to your custom style AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > For Default Style > Edit Settings > Allow User Select > No Otherwise just delete the Default Style if you don't need it. |

Checked both of those, they're all in order.
Any other ideas? Why in the world would the "WWW" make a difference? Strange. |

The www would make a difference if you are using cookies to set the style and you don't have your cookie prefix set correctly. But if you did exactly as Opserty said and set the default style to your own style, and completely disabled the vbulletin default style from being selectable, then I can't think of why this would be happening.

Try doing a hard reset (Ctrl-F5) and clear your cookies and cache. It may be just on your end.
