serious hosts always upgrade their PHP and MySQL when there is new official releases... so if your host is yet on PHP 4.3.1, you really have to move on... you are hosted by a lazy boy in his bedroom.

heheheh that's right Nexia, my previous host, when i ask them to upgrade php and mysql to version 5, told me that 'if i wanna this upgrade, i must buy another DB cause they can't move the data from one to another DB, also told me that the upgrade of php was scheduled for fall 2008 ...
so i changed my host ... :S |

I'm a Server Admin for a friend of mine's dedicated server, so we get to do all the upgrades and stuff.
Running on PHP 5.2.5, at the moment. Also running MySQL 5.0.45-community. |
