Change default size of text when posting
I am wondering if it is possible to change the default size of text when posting a new post?
By default I think it is set at "2"... but how do I change that? So for example... Right now I am posting a new post here and the text size was already set to "2" when I clicked "New Thread". I want to be able to change what it is set to by default on my forum. |

when u post a reply or something you'll see something that says "sizes"...click that and numbers in different sizes will show up and choose your size..

The current size is too small for my members... so instead of having to click the menu to change the size everytime, it would be easier to have it set to "3" or "4" as the default. |

I couldn't find where the default was set for font-size tag. I always throught the default was set by the css (Main CSS for the style) unless you deliberately used the font-size tag.

Yes, the default size is set somewhere in the CSS. Because the default size is larger than size "1" and smaller than size "2" and no size is selected by default on my forum.
Obviously there is a way to change which size is selected by default on the Drop-down menu because here, and another forum have it set at "2".... |

Have you looked at your Main CSS? The body is set at 10pt, along with td, th, p, li, tcat, wysiwig, etc. And then a couple of others are set at 11px (thead, button, etc.). I guess I don't understand why you don't change it there instead of playing with the editor. And, if you do want to play with the editor, why don't you just change what value "2" is. The problem with playing with the editor setting though is that it will only affect those posts where someone actually sets the font to [ size=2 ], not those just left as-is. Those left as-is though would be affected if you played with the css.
