upgrade/install possible bug?
Lets say if you were about to upgrade vbulletin and then someone entered their license in your upgrader where you enter your customer number.. Can they do that or is there something that stops that from happening? (Something that only lets you enter your own number)

You need to enter your own customer number and then they check that against the number in the upgrade script. So, if you put in a customer number not associated with the license number in your upgrade script, you get an error. At least, that is what I have heard - I have never tried it out.

AFAIK Only your customer number will be valid for any installation scripts you downloaded from vBulletin.com. Else there would be little point in entering now wouldn't there.

The customer number is entered into the files on-the-fly when you download them. Only yours can activate the script.
