Concurring
Hi there,
I'm running a board in which we have a "request" forum, and what I'd like is the ability for each thread to indicate how many people also want the particular thing listed in it. I'd like a button next to the post reply button that allows them to concur, and add 1 to the # of people who concur. It doesn't necessarily need to track that the person already voted, but that would be cool. In the end, I suppose I could hack the existing thread rating system, and just go by the votenum value from SQL, but getting the whole 5 star vote system to a single link clicked is boggling my mind. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! |

How about using the Thank You hack only changing the word from Thank You to I Concur?

It doesn't do that by default, but you could probably modify the code to count the users instead of grabbing the userids.
