Username taken
I am having a problem with people trying to register on my site, every name they try to register with it tells them the username is already taken, and I know for a fact that there is no user on my site with the usernames they are trying.
It has happened to 4 people now, how can I fix this? |

There is a setting where if a member changed their username, their old one cannot be used for X number of days. This option is in the AdminCP and I believe it is only there in 3.7+.

Admin CP > vBulletin Options > User Registration Options > Username Reuse Delay

I think its fixed now
Username Regular Expression You may require the username to match a regular expression (PCRE). The admin help provides some examples that may be useful. To disable this function leave the option blank. I had to remove the text from the box and leave it blank. |
