How do I stop spam bots
just wondering what is the best way to keep those pesky bots from getting on my site. I added the visual confirmation and also the word verification but still they get on. Any ideas and thanks in advance

Turn email confirmation on.
There is also a mod where you can ask a question and the person has to enter an answer. Such as what is 2 + 2 and the person enters 4. I think the add-on allows for several different questions to be asked, so they will rotate out. Look in the Vbulletin 3.6 mods section. |

check out the isbot mod. I installed it last week and it has prevented about 40 bots from signing up!
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ighlight=isbot I find you also should add their email address to the ban list for the ones that make it through. It's the best solution I have found for bots (Isbot) Sean |
