Importing Users
Hello. I have an Excel Spreadsheet with my organizations members on there. Is there a way to import that information in to vB? I can create user IDs for each of them in the spreadsheet.
Curently the spreadsheet has the following fields: Name, Address, Phone #, Email, and Judge Level. I have Custom User Fields set up for all of these fields. If it is possible to import, how would I format the spreadsheet? Would the column names need to be something like $user[filed7]? Would I need to save it as a CSV? Thanks for your help. I really hope this is possible, as I have over 500 members that I would have to add manually otherwise. |

You can export the list as CSV and then use the ImpEx textfile importer. You will need to modify it a bit to add your custom fields.
