Remove Attachments When File is Missing
Quick question, Site was wiped out and I have reconstructed it with four month old back up files, database is up to date, unfortunately a lot of attachment files were lost (Remote Server). I have run the update counters maintenance, etc. but it did not seem to resolve all the post with attachments that have missing attachment files. Files are saved as files and when site was lost all those files for the last four months were lost with it.
Is there a Query or way to fix it so vBulletin no longer look for the missing attachments except for me manually going through all the post and editing them to remove the attachments? Thanks in advance and yes, I know I should frequently download all the files to my home network. |

First find the highest attachmentnumber you still got the files for. Next use that number to remove any attachments from the database that have a higher number.
Warning: Never tried this, so be sure to have a backup ready. |

Thanks, I was hoping not to have to mess with the database, but perhaps I will have to, Thanks for the reply.
