Same users on several boards
Hi there,
I currently run a big forum in my niche. I'm now in the progress of starting up a new forum, but there is one little feature that would be pretty cool to have before I start it. Is there a way, to use just one user-database on two boards (or even more boards would be even greater, since Im planing to run a little network of boards)? |

yes, you can use the same user DB on several forums, but you'll need to buy a license for each URL.

Yeah, that's not really a problem.
My consern is how do I do it, and are there any major complications I should be aware of? Like postcount, statistics for each forum etc. All I really want is the same username and password. |

It is NOT easy to share the user database between boards.

So without turning the entire VB code up side down, it's not possible?

Erm, not you can't, unless you fancy re-writing a fair bit of the code. Quote:
Nope, not really. |
