Auto PM after infraction/ban
Hello,
i have a really big forum over 1mln posts. My moderators talk, that typing a PM in infraction reason is really annoying. So is there a hack, or modification, that send auto pm, after infraction ban? It was great in advanced warning system, but i use the vbuuletin standard infractions. |

I don't think so. I also thought bans could be set-up to post a thread in a specified forum but no.
I've gone weeks without realising someone has been banned! |

Banned = No access to the board = no access to read PM's

Nope, banned has got message box for 1 pm and he can send pm's

just because you lower the number of allowed PM's to 1, that doesn't mean it's going to clean out his box and leave your "banned PM" message in the inbox. He won't be able to receive anymore from you or anyone else if his box has more than 1 PM in it.
I would suggest sticking with email, or write a conditional template element that informs the user that his ass is BANNED!!!!!! |
