Post Style Switching
I would like to make it so that if it is a short post, the poster info appears on the left(classic I think it's called), and if its a long post, it appears on top (like here).
It can't be only character count based, as images, and huge font may mess with it. Is there a line count function for posts? If anyone would be so kind as to tell me how to do this it would be great. Feel free to use the idea as well, I feel it solves a good amount of problems compared to its simplicity. |

There is no way to count lines on a screen. The wrap will be different for everyone depending on their browser width and screen resolution. If you literally count line feeds, then you are as bad off as counting characters.

Then how does the signature limit do it?
I've thought about it though, and number of characters would be fine, so could anyone tell me how to do it that way? |
