How does it work?
It could not be easier. The customer is asked to buy a 'Keycode' through one of two methods:
1.
By texting GLPAY to 87070 (e.g. only) - by return they will receive a 10 digit Keycode
2.
By dialling 0906 123 456 (e.g. only) - they wil hear a brief message containing a Keycode

The SMS code or phone number depend upon how much you wish to charge for your product or service and the customer is charged directly to their mobile or landline phone bill.

Upon receiving their Keycode, the customer simply types it into a form on your website (which we provide), and they are redirected by the Green Light server to a page of your choice.
What is a 'Keycode'?
A Keycode is the unique 10-digit code issued by the Green Light server by SMS or telephone, and is used to veriify the transaction. However it does not stop there. You can choose to make Keycodes 'multiple use', which means that a you can set a Keycode to be used as many times as you choose and for as long as you require (ideal for membership services).
How do you set it up?
SMS & Phone Billing is free to use. Simply register as a Green Light customer and set-up your "Items" immediately. You will need to choose the price and where you would like the customer redirected following a successful payment, and we provide you with the HTML code. You then copy that code onto your website, and away you go.
Additional Options
There are a number of additional functions available (free of charge) such as automated emails to both you and your customer following a sale, the ability to pass variables through the payment system, receipt of HTTP posted data and password-based security. You can also opt for a more personalised service with the opportunity to brand SMS and phone messages for a small fee.
