[Help] MySQL Error

I am getting a number of mysql error messages related to /includes/class_core.php on line 274. One is "Too many connections" and the other is "Can't connect to MySQL server on 'remotemysqlhost' (4)" Can anyone help me with this? Although my test users are getting errors, nothing seems to be messing up permanently. Could this just be a common error with hosted databases? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks, I had a feeling it would be like that. <sigh> I will post any results I get from support to help anyone else who may have the same error.

My other problem with my host is that the php.ini is above my permission level, so vB can only handle up to 10MB uploads! I found out the default is 2MB, so I had it bumped to 10MB, but the barely matters for video uploading. There has to be a work around for that but I haven't found one yet. I had to deal with this testing Links & Download Manger for vB, but I just decided to go with Any Media and limit local videos to ftp (also the tech's suggestion after the bump!)

Actually I just started getting this error today, and would receive about 20 emails at exactly 14 minutes past the hour each hour for the last 8 hours or so. I just closed my site, ran a database repair and re-opened the site to see if that fixes it. It doesn't have anything to do wiht my site, and I didn't change any config on my site, this just started happening.

This is caused by the MySQL process locking up because of too many connections. I suggest you talk with your host.

This is a MySQL problem, so talk with your host.

The mysql connection times out before that query can be executed. First try as suggested to have this solved by your host by increasing the mysql timeout.

If that does not work, try adding the following line to your config.php:
