after import from WBB, no attachments
Hello,
first off: moving to vB was an excellent idea. Pretty much everything is way cooler than with WBB. so, massive thumbs up on the product. The mods, too, are simply superb, making our admin job easier. We are also getting a number of new members in the club as vB makes it really simple to provide attractions for different groups. however, there is one fly in the ointment. My old threads have somehow lost all their attached pictures and pdfs. Now the PDFs are kinda reasonable (there aren't *that* many), but the pics is a pain. I'm prepared to go to the mySQL level to fix this if i have to, but i don't really understand how the attachment process works. Anyone got tips and tricks as to how to do this? I was thinking about impexing again to a new DB - i could possibly reinstall and ... all sorts. I'd really appreciate some help on this. Thanks Bret |

I am guessing you used ImpEx? If so, you should post over in the ImpEx forum at vB.com.
