How do I "trim a database"?
Hello, currently I am having a problem with my host - my database file size is around 700MB and they said that their policy states a DB can not exceed 200MB, so what I am asking is how can I get rid of around 500 megs of junk? Would doing a forum prune help at all?
They shut down my site and disabled that database until i find out a solution, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

I am honestly not interested in looking for another host, more interested in just fixing this problem and getting it over with. If problems continue with these people than a switch will be made.
The host is pair.com if anyone cares. |

are attachments stored in the database or in the file system? having it on filesystem will cut down alot if I'm not mistaken.
