Default Football Picks
I thought this would be an excellent mod. If there is one already out there, please let me know.

A mod where members pick (win or lose) every football game of the week and have a overall standing displayed after each week to see who picks them the best.

All picks would be basic (win or lose)...none of that point spread stuff.. But I guess that could be added in aswell if desired. And all picks would have to be made before the first game of the week is played.

Wouldnt this be a cool mod to see who picks them the best week after week till the super bowl?

I have the latest version.. 3.6.7.. So I doubt this would be out already.

still nobody is interested in this mod? I cant believe there isnt one out there yet. Football is the most popular sport these days.. I cant even find a PHP program by itself that is simaler to what im looking for. someone please help.

I have one, but its not ready for public release.. still have a lot to do before I would release it here lol. Id probably spend all football season answering questions instead of enjoying my favorite sport I ported it over from a script that I found on sourceforge. The stand alone application is pretty easy to setup. I can hook you up with the original source code if you like. It would at least get you started and if I get mine done before the season is over, it will just be a matter of a simple dataconversion script to migrate it over.

If the SourceForge one works right out of the box, I would definately like to give it a test drive.

Ya, it works great out of the box. I've used it for the past few years and never had an issue with it. I'll hook ya up tomorrow.. just PM yer email addy so I can send ya a zip file (or a link so that you can download the zip)....

oh, Im sure there is... I don't have it bookmarked. Its something I found 3-4 years ago. I just zipped up the code for you this AM, then read this lol .. oh well.

Bumping this thread because I would pay for such a plug-in which would allow me to set up leagues, add the teams/point spreads each week, keep track of weekly winners, etc. I'm thinking something close to what Yahoo does with their free point spread leagues.
