can we remove the footer copyright text to put it on the footer image we may be using?

If you have purchsed an Unbranded Licence then I assume so.

If not, you can. But you will get a massive smack across the back of your hands from Jelsoft. In otherwords. No.

But as Dismounted said, go to www.vbulletin.com and post a sales ticket. (Thats what I'd do).
