Is there a way to disable admins from having to log in twice?
One thing that has always driven me crazy is the need to log in to my admin CP even when I am already logged into vbulletin and am user 1, superadmin - is there a way to disable that need?
thx in advance! |

You can increase the time before being logged out from AdminCP after inactivity:
AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Admin Control Panel Options -> Timeout Admin Login: No Since the AdminCP is a very powerfull tool that could do a lot of harm when used by the wrong person, an extra layer of security is added, forcing you to use a seperate login. Removing this feature would decrease your board security. |

I would not recommend you do this. You could leave your session open on a public PC and someone might get in and do you harm.
It's definitly there for a reason. |

Like I said Mike ... taking this away can cause possible vulnerabilities in the future as well. While there may be no problems NOW -- it only takes a very patient and persistent cracker to find out how to take over accounts ... leaving that extra layer open would make it that much easier for someone to completely destroy your site.
