We're doing an extensive over haul and i'm looking to know if we're allowed by licensing to just move the copyright notice.

All the same information will be there however it would just be better integrated into our footer when the time comes, that way its not just hanging out below the entire body of the site all <center>'d

Interesting.. I've seen countless sites that just re-organize that copyright information and just make it look neater in the design of that forum.

No intentions of removing or hiding any part of that original copyright would occur in my instance.

You can place the copyright info anywhere in your footer, aslong as "Powered by vBulletin®
Copyright ©2000 - 2006, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd." is visible, you do not have to pay an addition fee to do that, you only have to pay a fee to remove the copyright info,
