Thanks. You are right - I am using vBulletin, vbAdvanced CMPS, vBSEO and vBlogetin.
I used to really hate CMPS until I started editing the code, now it's actually quite flexible (I have 1 module acting as 3, modules changing depending on style, etc). Basically I modified the module shell template to not use any tables, and had to make minor modifications to all of the stock modules so they are also tableless (though some require tables so I have that as a condition). This isn't necessary though, if you just modify your .tborder, .tcat, .thead, .alt1, etc CSS classes you can make them white. The news is powered by vBlogetin, using custom templates that I plan to release for the actual application later. Another modification that really makes it lose the standard vBulletin look is splitting your navbar up. I have the welcome/userinfo stuff in the header, navigation left as-is, and breadcrumbs below that. |

Great job with the design of the site. I'm working to get a similar look.
I've been running joomla 1.0.11 and phpbb 2.0.21 for the last 6 months and I'm tired of hacking into the code everytime i install a new mode. I have around 50 mod, plugins, modules..on that site...and it's about time I let the software do work for me In fact, I have the old forum still up and running at www.quantnet.org/forum while the vbulletin is at www.quantnet.org/forums So it looks like i'm waiting for you guys to get beta 3 out ? How difficult is it to configure the style and all the programs to have your site look ? I want to have the news coming from some announcement on vBulletins, most viewed blog, some Calendar events. |

It's been an ongoing project. It's not very hard though - especially if you don't mind having tables to start with (make them transparent / white).
