I'm having trouble installing the RSS News Feed Hack as described here. I believe it is because the /includes/functions_newpost.php file has a different structure in 3.5.x.

Could someone take a look? I think this will be useful to many 3.5.x users. Thanks in advance!

Any suggestions on where the right place would be? I brought it up because I thought this hack would be useful to many many people.

There are some RSS Modifications available for 3.5.x

3.6.x has a built in RSS posting system.

Modifications will only work for the version that they are written for.
