Reputation system causing a script error?
Im having a small problem with a script error i believe may be partially related to the rep system.
I have a second account setup for testing user level stuff, And my forums are setup so that when a user joins, they can ONLY see the introduction lounge until they make an intro post, and can only post threads, and replies to their own threads. Now here is the problem. When i use my second account to test this out, i get an error. I make an intro post, and then when i press submit, i get a script error on line 665 of showthread. When i view the thread created by me, i get this error. This only seems to happen when i view my own post, and only when im in this limited usergroup. I can view other intro posts just fine, with no errors, but as soon as i view my own, i get this error. I havent yet had someone to test this and see if it happens with other users, but i need to fix this. Here is the offending line of code.... Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> vbrep_register("42")</script> There have been no hacks installed, and the only mod i made was the splitting of the forumhome catagories, into seperate tables instead of one big one. ive had a couple of users test this... and so far it seems that it is only happening for ME when i view my own posts. i have another thought i should go test now. the account im using doesnt have an email or anything set... just a user/pass ... maybe that has something to do with it. nothing with the profile seems to be affecting it. I registered a new user properly and still had the same error |
