How do I change the date format to: x number of minutes/hours/days ago?

An example I found of this format: http://www.futureproducers.com/forums/

Instead of showing the date of the posts it shows you how long ago the post was made.

The tricky part is it shows this format for 4 weeks and after that it displays normal dates again.
