Login on my header
I'm just putting together my website and was wondering if there were a way to remove the login section of the forum and have it be on my site's header instead above my menu.
Here's a screenshot to help illustrate. I've gotten it to work by plugging in the login info from the navbar template... however I can't get it to recognize the forum settings... My test page is: www.sportstalknet.net/header.html Can anyone look at my code and let me know if you know why it's not picking up on the forum settings? Code:
<!-- login form --> <form action="login.php?do=login" method="post" onsubmit="md5hash(vb_login_password, vb_login_md5password, vb_login_md5password_utf, $show[nopasswordempty])"> <script type="text/javascript" src="clientscript/vbulletin_md5.js?v=$vboptions[simpleversion]"></script> <div class="logintext"><label for="navbar_username">User Name:</label> <input type="text" class="bginput" style="font-size: 11px" name="vb_login_username" id="navbar_username" size="10" accesskey="u" tabindex="101" value="User Name" onfocus="if (this.value == '$vbphrase[username]') this.value = '';" /> <br><label for="navbar_password">Password:</label> <input type="password" class="bginput" style="font-size: 11px" name="vb_login_password" id="navbar_password" size="10" tabindex="102" /> <br>Remember Me?<input type="checkbox" name="cookieuser" value="1" tabindex="103" id="cb_cookieuser_navbar" accesskey="c" /> <input type="image" class="button" src="images/login.gif" tabindex="104" title="$vbphrase[enter_username_to_login_or_register]" accesskey="s" /> </div> <input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]" /> <input type="hidden" name="do" value="login" /> <input type="hidden" name="vb_login_md5password" /> <input type="hidden" name="vb_login_md5password_utf" /> </form> <!-- / login form --> |

The only thing I changed was the form action url... instead of just the "login.php?do=login", I put the full url in there. Easy fix.
So now I have "http://www.sportstalknet.net/forums/login.php?do=login" In other words, just make sure you're a bit more specific. |
