vb 3.6.2 + phpadsnew question
Alright well I have phpadsnew running within its own table on my navbar template at the top of the forums right under the actual navbar, but I want to figure out how can I optimize the loading of my ads.
Let me explain a bit better. Basically when loading the page either in FF or IE I notice that the ads will load after the forum/content and usually it takes a couple seconds after the forum/content has already loaded. I want to change this. I want to make my pages load in a way where all my ads in that table right under the navbar load before the actual forum content which is below it. Is there maybe some sort of code I can use to tell the browser to load these ads first before loading the rest of the code? Please note, this happens on all pages not just forumhome. And my invocation code is all HTML so I know there is nothing really wrong there. Also note that I am running my phpAdsNew on a different mySQL database then my forums for security reasons. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: I just realized I posted in the wrong section, forgive me |

I know what you mean. But, for me, the ads sometimes slow up my site, because they're loading 1st.
