Will upgrading break my integrated app?
I have a publishing app integrated with vb3.0, but support for it has gone AWOL, so I can't ask the author. It uses the vb3.0 member list, and anytime an article is published it starts a new forum thread. My question is: if I upgrade to vb3.6.1 will it still be able to share the member list and start new threads?

Thanks, that's what I thought. It's a shame, really, since it's the only publishing app I've found that does what I need, but since I can't upgrade to vb3.6 its holding back the rest of my site development.

If you are willing to pay, you could post a service request asking someone to convert it to be 3.5/3.6 compatible.

Some day I may have a budget for that. In the meantime I keep seeing lots of requests for publishing apps like mine here, and so hope that someone will eventually write one.
