Forum Name and description in phrases
hey, I've tried making a custom phrase (forumname_offtopic and forumdescription_offtopic) with two languages (english and french) and would like to have the output of the forum name resulting in the english or french language.
I've tried changing the forum name in "create new forum" as "$vbphrase[forumname_offtopic]" yet it outputs it as $vbphrase[test_language_forum_1], not as "offtopic" what else do i need to change, I'm assuming that I will either need to edit something in a template, or in a file, I've tried searching the answer for about 30 minutes, but I'm assuming I'm using an insufficient query. |

I posted this on vb.com, and they told me to come here
can someone at least point me in the right direction? I know the forumnames are not being parsed by the phrases engine, I would just like to know if someone has an idea of how to add it. I do not nessisarly need the phrases to be integrated with the "create/edit forum" in ACP, having it in the phrase manager would suffice. |
