problem with menu_open.gif

In the navbar there are 2 arrows(triangles), the image for these is menu_open.gif. The image size is 11 x 7. The problem is that in the navbar they are being displayed at 55x35.Also anywhere there is a menu_open.gif required, they display at 55x35.

I have dloaded the file from server and checked the size which is 11x7.

Where can i find the settings or code that will allow me to change it..

Resolved.. at some point and time I must have uploaded the wrong size jpg, I corrected this but it did not reflect the change on my pc until i cleared the cache..
