URGENT: Yet MORE permissions help required. [FOR 3.6.0]
Hello,
I find myself asking for Permissions yet again. I have asked before and have been helped by tinkerbell [thanks a lot ] but her advice did not work for version 3.6.0. Basically, I am running a "Big Brother" style competition and each contestant has their own Diary Room subforum. I set the permissions for each Diary Room so that housemates are set so they can't view the forums but they can post. I then use access masks to grant each hosuemate access to their own Diary Room. However, this still hasn't worked as housemates can't post threads or reply to threads in their Diary Rooms. I need it so housemates CAN post in their own Diary Rooms. How will I go about this? Please remember I am using version 3.6.0 GOLD. Thanks in advance. |

Did you set each of their Diary rooms as a separate subforum? Are the users under different usergroups? What current settings do you have?
There are a couple ways you could do this and I need to know in which direction you are going? |
