Post Count Mod - Count New Threads but Not Replies

Hi all,

What I'd like is to be able to allow new threads to count towards a members post count but I dont want replies to any threads to count. And I'd like to specify the forums this applies to.

I found something that nearly did what I wanted but not quite here:
