Restrict certain smilie categories to certain usergroups

What I'm thinking here is having some adult type smilies.

And then an adult secondary usergroup.

Those in that usergroup can see the smilies in the popup window and it'll parse into the image for them in posts.

Those not in the usergroup cannot see the smilies in the popup window and the smilies parse as %%%%%%% for them in posts instead of seeing the actual smilie.
