Formatting a userprofile field as an URL
I have created a user profile field that is a number.
This is 6 digit number. I want this number to be added to a standard url in the format: http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=###### where that 6 digit number takes the place of the ###### in the url above. When displayed via the MEMBERINFO template, i'd like it to show up as follows: m0nde's Dogster Profile where the $userinfo[username] variable is used to pull the user's name. I'm not well versed in PHP and would like a bit of help with this. - Sid I clumsily tried to write my own code for the above and this is what I've come up with for use in the MEMBERINFO template: HTML Code:
<tr><td colspan="2"> <if condition="$userinfo['field9']"> <span class="smallfont">Take a look at $userinfo[username]'s pet's <a href="http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=$userinfo[field9]" target="_blank">Dogster Profile</a></span><br /> <else /> $userinfo[username] hasn't set their Dogster ID</if> <if condition="$userinfo['field8']"> <span class="smallfont">Take a look at $userinfo[username]'s pet's <a href="http://www.petster.com/cgi/profile.cgi?pet_id=$userinfo[field8]" target="_blank">Petster Profile</a></span> <else /> $userinfo[username] hasn't set their Petster ID </if> </td></tr> - Sid |
